In the first quarter of 2016, Ruby joined Bangkok-based Social Change Creative Agency Love Frankie in launching the #SHEMEANSBUSINESS campaign for Facebook South East Asia. Countries targeted include: Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Korea, and Australia. Ruby was in charge of gathering and galvanizing the Philippine market to participate in the campaign, aimed at empowering and inspiring women entrepreneurs to start and/or grow their business through Facebook.
Ruby served as a remote consultant and influencer engagement manager, using her network in the Philippines to galvanize key opinion leaders in communicating the message of #SHEMEANSBUSINESS , promoting fellow female business owners, and sharing experiences as well as best practices. The campaign is a seed for a longer-term initiative that Facebook will implement in the South East Asia region to train and support women entrepreneurs to grow their businesses.
