**Quote shared from my good friend, Jay Jasper Pugao, educator and artist from the Bay Area, California.
This morning, I started my day off communing with a room of powerful, influential, beautiful women whose daily work saves the world. I am so happy to share that I’ve just began a partnership with Litworld, a global literacy organization spreading education and literacy all over the globe. With a base in NY and chapters in Africa, Litworld is forming Girls Clubs to empower young girls and help them harness the power of their words and expression to become leaders in their communities. I will be developing a pilot Girls Club in NY for high school women, and I am SO EXCITED. I cannot wait to share my love with a group of young ladies, women who I know will be the next voices of inspiration. I will keep you all updated! And if you’d like to help, let me know! Any ideas are welcome. Love to you all.
Ruby! I saw you as a quarter finalist on IAAS.com. CONGRATS!
I’m rooting for you, best of best with this project.
I’m living in BK now too, this project sounds like something I’d DEF like to get involved with…
Big love,
Alex (from AUP
