As someone who has been with iLL-Literacy from the beginning, it is with an enormous amount of pride that I help present this album to you, world.
The evolution is outstanding. The sound is unlike anything you’ve heard.
Yes, dare I say: prepare to be moved.
Through our journey together as spoken word mon(star) aliens over the past few years, we’ve all been in search of creating something that has never been done before. The past year has been the metamorphosis for all of us. We came to NY ready for the next level, this time from different platforms.
Yet, the ultimate challenge for us as artists is to create innovation, always. The cutting edge, the envelope pushing, next-big-thing idea is no small feat. A true innovator’s duty is to birth a vision, a concept, an idea, that hasn’t yet existed. Creating a space for an idea that has no comparison is the closest we humans come to summoning magic.
