I’ve been waiting to attend a proper rooftop party. Then came the serendipitous invite from Fader Magazine, inviting me to go all the way to the top floor and take an entire view of New York City in with a beer in one hand and a SoCo in the other. After I realized my mouth was still open in awe, I realized how much of a tourist I still am. Ah well.

*photo above and below borrowed from fader blog- their recounts on the party here.
The night was gorgeous, minus one really bad guitar singer who I’ll cross out of my memory and instead replace with Mad Decen’ts Maluca, who also performed that night. She’s dope!

I rolled to the partay with my girl, Maria Mayoralgo (FADER), and my road dawg J Nicholson (Cornerstone)…

got made fun by fellow oaklandite and music producer Wes Mapes for being such a tourist…(note: he is also one of the few people that can make me look really short in pictures, yay.)

I brought my drank and my two step, and I swear, if I had any roof left to raise, I woulda done it.
Anyhow, I had a grand ole time, and I wished you were all there. See you at the next one!
