Yes, it’s official. After months of dodging the actual, formal announcement, we finally did it. Well, I don’t know about formal (between uncontrollable laughter, jokes galore, and my weird robotic and flat out strange colloqualisms), its not exactly ‘formal’ in the traditional definition, but it does announce the new iLL era…
After all these years, I’m retiring from touring and recording with iLL-lit, and exploring new creative mediums. It has been such an incredible journey, and I am astounded every time I reflect on how iLL-Literacy began and how far we’ve come. All of this time touring and experiencing life as an artist was way beyond my imagination when we started iLL-Lit in college. Now I look back at all our accomplishmens, and feel incredibly proud that I’ve been able to play a big part in a movement.
But every artist needs to grow, and every person needs to move forward to a new chapter. We’re all excited for what’s to come for all of us, and best believe you’ll still find us collaborating on a bunch of iLL goodies!
And did we mention the new site debuts June 1st??? And did you also catch that iLL-Lit’s brand spanking new EP is coming out very very soon?!?! Oh man…its about. to. go. down.
