G.P.S. Radar: Karen O
I am so in love with Karen O right now. So I’m a little late on the Yeah Yeah Yeahs bandwagon, but it wasn’t until recently that I’ve finally gotten smitten by the fierce magic that is Karen Lee Orzolek (mom is Korean, dad is Polish and oh how she represents). She is so fierce! That voice, that fashion sense, and man o man she can tear a stage up like a tazmanian devil wearing face makeup and colorful leotards and a studded leather jacket. The Yeah Yeah Yeahs just dropped their new album, It’s Blitz, and even though Karen has a swagger of a hundred thousand trillion, their new single is entitled “Zero” , which you can peep here.
