Spicy Ivory: 3.1 Phillip Lim Spring 2009
For Spring season, I typically lean towards bright, vibrant colors, but Phillip Lim’s Spring 09 collection reminds me there’s something vivacious about neutral shades too. (read more after the jump…)
(Neutrals are big this Spring) I love Lim’s juxtaposition of bright red shoes and edgy leather with khakis and creams, the tendril textures while paring black and salmon pink, and combining crisp, clean looks with hints of sexy feminine bravado. I especially adore the typically rugged belt given a flirty twist, worn as a bow, and khaki shoes paired with a bold geometric print.
