G.P.S. Radar: Tiph of Homeygrown Designs

I first met Tiph at a sidewalk corner in Oakland. No, not like that! Haha. I happened to stumble across a  block party in Old Oakland, right in front of Verse Shoe Boutique, and I noticed this amazing piece of heaven that came in purple leopard- it was a purple leopard hoodie that had my name written all over it. I HAD to stop and talk with the designer that made it! And there she was, Tiph! Somehow, she became my saving grace.

Tiph is a designer from Oakland, CA. She is a designer for her collective and creative network, HOMEYGROWN Designs, and her specialty is taking old clothes and reconstructing them into modern day fly gear. I was so enchanted by her designs that I asked her to pretty please style me for my MYX TV taping gigs. She is a sweetheart, a cutie pie mommy with the cutest daughter ever, and her designs make me one happy lady. Interested in collaborating/ordering? Check her out on her MYSPACE.
