July 14 2008: Birthday Declarations

some things i love most about my life is: lake merritt and my bffs.

It seems as if it’s totally un-adult to celebrate birthdays now. You know, everyone, as they get older seems to say, “oh you know, i’m not really big on birthdays”. Well, I’m not really an adult yet, nor will I ever consider myself to be, so I feel its okay to cheese really hard and be super giddy that i’m celebrating another year today! Woot woot!! Heeyyyyyyy!!! (Insert happy dance here)

You know how the night before the first day of school, you’d be so excited that you couldn’t sleep?!!? (Oh, wait- is that just me?) Well, thats how I felt today- unfortunately, I was so excited I woke up at 5 AM and couldn’t go back to sleep for the life of me. So..I decided to write up my declarations instead. And hey you? I’m celebrating you too. Yes you! Celebrate yourself today and everyday.

Today I am the realization supreme magnificence. I am the realization of my goodness gracious, I’m 25!. I am the realization of radiant new beginnings and clear spaces inside this new age bracket- I’m taking all the breaths in, because my, oh my, it feels good to be here.

I am the realization that the new Chanel collection, mango mochi, the China Town diagonal cross walk, and Chris and Mary’s wedding is giving me SO MUCH LIFE right now!!!

I am the realization of growth, progress, and ‘watch me now, I’m just getting started’.

I release the past. I release worry. I am letting go of old expectations, and welcoming in the beauty and sweetness of what’s to come.

I am welcoming and basking in the beauty all around me. I welcome positive energy, laughter, buoyancy, and love. It’s my year, boiiiiiiiiiiii!

I am the realization of blessings abundant. I am the realization that I am my own harry potter. (I’m magic, baby!) I am dreams manifested!

I create a beautiful day filled with hope, fam, and hella hella tasty goodness. I manifest finding the bossiest pair of heels for my Wednesday dress.

I celebrate new opportunities, a fantastic outlook for the future, and yes yes yes yes yes!!

I am supafly outer space Miss Universe in all her star-filled majesty.

The world is giving me so much life right now! Pretty Buoyant!!
