Joi can single-handedly take you to heaven and back in one riff. She’s an amazing singer with heart stopping stage presence and a voice to die for. She performs with the Dungeon Family and Outkast, was a former member of Lucy Pearl (after Dawn left), and she is the host for Sugarhill, one of the dopest venues I have ever been in-EVER. Sugarhill features a jam session with Atlanta singers and musicians every Tuesday, boasting raw, uninhibited talent that will have your mouth agape in awe.

Real talk, I’m coming to Sugarhill every Tuesday til I leave. If you’re in Atlanta, I’m telling you, it’s a must-see. Come through:
